Who wouldn’t love to pin a giant red “B” on all the bullies in school? I don’t know what parent these days would not totally throw a fit and/or threaten to sue, though. Forcing them to run/walk a 5k, on the other hand, might actually be doable. And humiliating enough to satisfy a few victims.

Neither response, however, would solve the problem. Why doesn’t anyone ever want to address why bullies bully in the first place? Granted, a sappy portrait of Sadie’s home life probably wouldn’t interest anyone, at least not the teens this show is written for. Not unexpectedly, Sadie’s behavior didn’t change, while Tamara and Jenna were punished as bullies for behavior that does not actually qualify as bullying.

Nice try, Awkward. I get the impression someone on your writing staff thought the Hester Prynne bit up back in high school as what would happen in her perfect world. Sounds pretty sweet to me too, but not effective at doing much more than forcing bullies to be a little more creative/sneaky.
